Sanjiv Kapoor

Vice President of Product Engineering

Sanjiv Kapoor has 15 years of experience in various thin film process technologies. He has led advanced process development groups that enabled the introduction and manufacturing ramp-up of novel products. These products have included compound semiconductor devices, substrates for flexible displays and fingerprint sensors integrated into smart cards. Sanjiv spent 10 years at Watkins Johnson developing the first high density plasma deposition equipment and led several expansions of their Gallium-Arsenide fab. Their wireless product group had a successful IPO as WJ Communications based in part on the high linearity amplifiers chips introduced to the telecommunications market. Recently he led engineering groups at start-ups including Vitex and Fidelica Microsystems. Sanjiv received his Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
