Tomoya Shitara, Ph.D:

Vice President of Business Development

Tomoya Shitara brings over 15 years of experience in marketing and business development roles in fortune 500 corporations. Prior to joining XeroCoat in May 2008 as Director of Product Marketing and Business Development, he held various Marketing and Business Development positions in KLA-Tencor and Schlumberger and worked with the global customers in Finance, IT, Utility, Automotives and Semiconductor Industries. Prior to his business career, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Imperial College, London in UK and Max-Planck-Institut für Festkörperforschung in Germany. He has more than 30 publications in internationally recognized journals and has presented to numerous conferences and worldwide seminars. He received a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from The University of Tokyo, Japan, and a Ph.D. in Physics from Imperial College at University of London, United Kingdom.
